中国首艘甲醇双燃料动力集装箱船完成绿色甲醇加注

中国首艘甲醇双燃料动力集装箱船“中远海运洋浦”轮,星期三(7月2日)在海南洋浦港完成首次绿色甲醇加注。

据中新社报道,该船由中国远洋海运集团有限公司建造,船舶总长366米、型宽51米,最大装箱量达1万6136标准集装箱,将投运于洋浦港至美洲航线。

此次加注的200吨绿色甲醇原料取自城市餐厨垃圾、动物粪便等废弃物发酵产生的沼气,可减少二氧化碳排放约325吨,相当于种植1万9000余棵树的碳汇效应。

报道称,根据国际海事组织统计,全球航运每年大约排放10亿吨温室气体,占运输业排放量的13%。在全球“双碳”目标下,绿色甲醇正在成为航运业脱碳转型的关键替代燃料。
