火灾致伦敦希思罗机场瘫痪 调查报告：国家电网失职
英国国家能源系统运营商日前发布的调查报告显示，今年3月英国首都伦敦希思罗机场变电站火灾事故源于高压电气绝缘设备故障。
新华社报道，报告指出，这一故障“极有可能”是水汽渗入设备所致，英国国家电网公司此前两次错过修复故障的机会。按照机场内部电力网络设计和配置，若三个供电节点中任何一个失效，就会导致关键运营系统供电中断，机场运营因此暂停较长时间。
英国能源安全和净零排放大臣米利班德表示，相关报告“令人深感忧虑”，英国国家电网公司未能解决已知风险。
今年3月，希思罗机场因附近变电站火灾而陷入瘫痪，影响了上千个航班、约25万名旅客，造成的经济损失可能高达数千万英镑。

That said, PayPal has announced that it will enable cryptocurrency as a funding source for purchases this year, financing purchases by automatically converting crypto holdings to fiat currency for users. “They have 346 million users and they’re connected to 26 million merchants,” says Spencer Montgomery, founder of Uinta Crypto Consulting. “It’s huge.”
