白宫否认贝森特是美联储主席潜在候选人
美国财政部长贝森特据报成为新任美国联邦储备局主席的潜在候选人，但白宫否认这一说法。
彭博社星期二（6月10日）引述知情人士消息报道说，贝森特已进入美联储主席鲍威尔潜在继任者名单。其他可能人选还有美联储前理事沃什，他曾面试财长职位。
不过，路透社报道，一名白宫官员随即否认上述消息，指彭博社虚假报道。
美国总统特朗普上星期五（6日）说，他很快就会任命新一届美联储主席。彭博社引述两名消息人士报道说，这个职位的正式面试尚未开始。
贝森特正在领导特朗普的全球贸易改革计划，并参与推动税收和监管改革。他在回应彭博社置评请求时说：“我有华盛顿最好的工作。总统会决定谁对经济和美国人民最有利。”
