就美加征汽车关税 加拿大向世贸组织提起申诉
世界贸易组织（WTO）指出，加拿大已就美国总统特朗普对汽车进口加征高额关税一事，向世贸组织正式提出申诉。
法新社报道，世贸组织星期一（4月7日）在声明中说：“加拿大已就美国对来自加拿大的汽车及汽车零部件加征25%关税的措施，要求与美方进行争端磋商。”
加拿大于4月3日提交这一申述，并于星期一向世贸组织成员国通报。
美国原定于2月4日对所有来自加拿大进口商品征收25%关税，后将实施日期推迟至3月4日。根据最新安排，石油和能源类产品的关税税率下调至10%，而纳入《美加墨自由贸易协定》（USMCA）范围的商品则暂时豁免。

The global forecast for the Asian markets is murky following recent volatility, with crude oil prices providing support in what has been an otherwise tough month. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were mixed and flat and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.The TSE finished modestly lower on Friday following losses from the financial shares and property stocks.For the day, the index sank 15.09 points or 0.49 percent to finish at 3,061.35 after trading between 3,057.84 and 3,089.78. Volume was 1.39 billion shares worth 1.30 billion Singapore dollars. There were 285 decliners and 184 gainers.
