针对与格芯合并消息 台湾联华电子：没推进任何合并
针对美国格芯（GlobalFoundries）探讨与台湾联华电子（UMC）合并的消息，台湾联电受询时表示，它不对市场猜测发表评论，目前没有推进任何合并计划。
联电发言人星期二（4月1日）接受《联合早报》询问时，做出上述表达。
彭博社星期二报道，格芯有意与台湾第二大晶片制造商联华电子合并，此举是一项长期交易的一部分，旨在创建一家更具韧性的半导体制造商。
据报道，格芯候任总裁蒂姆·布林（Tim Breen）一直在考虑交易选项，包括与联华电子联手。然而，合并交易最终是否能成功并不明朗。
