水户冈来袭，都电复古重制

将被复古翻新的8501

东京都日前宣布，将对都电荒川线一辆服务超过35年的8500形电车进行翻新。这次不是普通的翻新，而是内外重新设计，并意图把乘车本身打造成观光目的之一。

这次东京找上了车迷已经看腻了的水户冈锐治的老朋友，而他给出的效果也毫不令人意外。车外大面积高明度单色，这次复刻了都电经典的山吹色（棣棠花的金黄色），配上数不清的黑金色Helvetica字体西文组成的装饰线条。以及水户冈近年很喜欢的假格栅，而车内同样是木制暖色和极为繁复华丽的装饰。依然是那令人已经看腻了的日式复古土洋，但依然有效。

都电此前也做过重新设计的翻新，例如7000形改7700形以及9000形，还算比较克制。这次为了翻新，东京都还特地向大家众筹1700万，不知道水户冈拿出的方案会否得到大家真金白银积极支持呢。

Secure video calling is in high demand. As an alternative to Zoom, many people are using end-to-end encrypted apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime or Signal to speak to friends and family face-to-face since coronavirus lockdowns started to take place across the world. There’s another option—secure communications app Telegram just added video calling to its feature set, available on both iOS and Android. The new feature is also super secure—like Signal and WhatsApp and unlike Zoom (yet), video calls will be end-to-end encrypted.

Here’s how to auto-delete messages in any Telegram chat. You can enable the auto-delete feature on a per-chat basis. It works for both one-on-one conversations and group chats. Previously, you needed to use the Secret Chat feature to automatically delete messages after a set time. At the time of writing, you can choose to automatically delete messages after a day or a week. Telegram starts the timer once they are sent, not after they are read. This won’t affect the messages that were sent before enabling the feature.
