国务院修改《全国年节及纪念日放假办法》自2025年起实行：春节法定假日3天改4天（增加除夕），劳动节法定假日1天改2天（增加5月2日）。由此实现，假期调休形成前后连续工作一般不超过6天。据此，国务院办公厅11月12日发《关于2025年部分节假日安排的通知》，规定今后：春节自除夕起放假调休8天；劳动节放假调休5天；国庆节自10月1日起放假调休7天，如逢中秋节则合并放假8天；元旦、清明节、端午节、中秋节分别放假调休或连休3天，如逢周三则只在当日放假。（中国政府网）
