刚果民主共和国反政府武装“M23运动”3月19日夺取战略城镇瓦利卡莱。政府军表示，部队已撤离以避免伤亡。瓦利卡莱所在地区矿产丰富，拥有连接着刚果东部四个省份的公路。
“M23运动”因欧盟制裁拒绝与政府对话后，刚果总统与卢旺达总统18日进行会谈。双方呼吁立即停火。但“M23运动”表示，两国呼吁与他们无关，其部队不接受卢旺达指挥。但“M23运动”重申与政府直接对话的要求。

However, analysts are positive on the stock now. “We have seen a huge downside movement in the stock due to the central electricity regulatory commission’s (CERC) order that seems to be negative from 2014-15 onwards but we cannot take a linear negative view on the stock and further downside movement on the stock is unlikely. Currently stock is underpriced. Investors can bet on it for a longer horizon," said Vivek Gupta, director research at CapitalVia Global Research.
