卡茨表示接受美国总统特朗普提出的美“接管”加沙地带的提议，并称此举“有助于在去军事化、消除安全威胁情况下重建加沙地带”。
特朗普6日声称，巴以冲突结束后，加沙地带将由以色列转交给美国。加沙地带重建过程中，“不需要美国士兵”维护地区安全。
虽然埃及总统塞西尚未公开就特朗普的提议置评。但消息人士称，埃及已向以色列和美国政府明确表示，将抵制任何此类提议，并将其视为对国家安全的威胁。

The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were mixed and flat and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.The TSE finished modestly lower on Friday following losses from the financial shares and property stocks.For the day, the index sank 15.09 points or 0.49 percent to finish at 3,061.35 after trading between 3,057.84 and 3,089.78. Volume was 1.39 billion shares worth 1.30 billion Singapore dollars. There were 285 decliners and 184 gainers.
