刚果民主共和国反政府武装“M23运动”宣布的停火在戈马市基本得到维持。戈马市许多居民开始恢复日常活动。不过有居民称，2月4日仍有零星枪击和抢劫事件。
刚果新闻和媒体部长穆亚亚表示，在冲突中丧生的超过2000名死者需要下葬。联合国方面称，在戈马市的战斗中有至少900人死亡、近3000人受伤。
政府军对单方面停火持怀疑态度，认为“M23运动”此举是为了重组和加强队伍。穆亚亚也将单方面停火描述为“虚假消息”，表示仍在等待“M23运动”撤离。
联合国发言人2月4日表示，南基伍省据报发生激烈战斗，但尚无任何关于“M23运动”接近该省首府布卡武的报告。

As per the Telegram blog post, users can “Toggle Remain Anonymous in Admin rights to enable Batman mode. The anonymized admin will be hidden in the list of group members, and their messages in the chat will be signed with the group name, similar to channel posts.”
