消息人士称，本次会议的东道主阿塞拜疆邀请阿富汗环境机构官员作为观察员参加此次气候大会，使其能够“潜在地参与外围讨论，并可能举行双边会谈”。
但因为塔利班对妇女教育和行动自由的限制，联合国不承认塔利班是阿富汗的合法政府，也不允许塔利班在联合国大会上占据阿富汗的席位，所以塔利班官员无法以成员国资格参会。

Durov said on his Telegram channel today that the two and a half year blockchain and crypto project has been put to sleep. Ironically, after leaving Russia because the government wanted his encryption keys to his social media firm, Durov’s cryptocurrency idea lost steam because of a U.S. court. “The technology we created allowed for an open, free, decentralized exchange of value and ideas. TON had the potential to revolutionize how people store and transfer funds and information,” he wrote on his channel. “Unfortunately, a U.S. court stopped TON from happening.”
