台湾，新届立法院2月1日开幕，互选产生院长（韩国瑜）副院长（江启臣）。
本届国会席次为蓝绿白54–51–8，选举规则为不记名互选、如无过半前两名决选。开幕前日，民众党宣布拟推举黄珊珊为院长，且若第二轮投票为蓝绿决选则将弃权，以此呼吁蓝绿支持，但未被理睬。
落选院长的游锡堃（民进党提名的不分区立委）已宣布自2月2日起辞任立委，原提名第13位的王正旭相应将递补转正。

Durov said on his Telegram channel today that the two and a half year blockchain and crypto project has been put to sleep. Ironically, after leaving Russia because the government wanted his encryption keys to his social media firm, Durov’s cryptocurrency idea lost steam because of a U.S. court. “The technology we created allowed for an open, free, decentralized exchange of value and ideas. TON had the potential to revolutionize how people store and transfer funds and information,” he wrote on his channel. “Unfortunately, a U.S. court stopped TON from happening.”
