欧方官员介绍，习近平同欧洲理事会主席米歇尔1日会谈时说，他认为近日国内示威是源于抗疫三年民众已精疲力竭，示威主体是青年在校学生；现流行的奥密克戎株远不如德尔塔株致命，中国总体疫苗接种率也较高，但老年人接种率低构成挑战。
米歇尔就疫苗审批使用问题向习近平声请、并就中国的防疫政策提出疑问时，习近平作出如上回答。
习近平又说因应不稳情势中国将进一步推进疫苗接种，米歇尔则向中方分享了欧洲推进大规模接种时的经验。欧方官员形容会谈内容充实，体会到中国很希望增强民众接种疫苗的动机、或多或少会从欧洲经验中学习。

To pay the bills, Mr. Durov is issuing investors $1 billion to $1.5 billion of company debt, with the promise of discounted equity if the company eventually goes public, the people briefed on the plans said.
