描述：1949年10月1日，毛主席在天安门城楼上向全世界宣布了新中国的诞生。但与此同时，中国的西南边陲仍有30余万的国民党部队盘踞，做着最后的垂死挣扎。国共两军剑拔弩张，亦称胶着状态。而驻扎在川南岷水市的国民党的第92军，更是其中的代表。供职于92军情报处的瞿皓明(张涵予 饰)，其真实身份是我党打入国军内部的一名地下党员，他为解放全中国的伟大事业做出了无数巨大的贡献。
