قال العلامة السعدي رحمه الله في ((تفسيره)) (ص: 548) : (({والذين هم عن اللغو} وهو الكلام الذي لا خير فيه ولا فائدة، {معرضون} رغبة عنه، وتنزيها لأنفسهم، وترفعا عنه، وإذا مروا باللغو مروا كراما، وإذا كانوا معرضين عن اللغو، فإعراضهم عن المحرم من باب أولى وأحرى، وإذا ملك العبد لسانه وخزنه -إلا في الخير- كان مالكا لأمره)) اهـ.
