From February 4th to the 6th, RT Academy was front and center at a pair of top private universities in India. During a trip to Bennett University and UPES, the focus was on ethics, reporting, presenting and the responsibilities while working for an international news network.
Headlining the days was the leader of RT’s Education Department Anna Kovtunova who was joined by one of RT’s top presenters with decades of media experience, Nikki Aaron.
From deep dives into ways of developing a news career and becoming a top professional, to fielding questions from media students and local journalists, RT Academy also shared insights on its future plans in the region. With over 100 participants, the discussions often turned to the Global South’s rising voice in the multipolar world.
Those in attendance received certificates of completion after they learned how to find the most interesting stories, the art of the pitch, scripting an engaging piece and testing their skills in front of the camera.
