7.21元朗白衣人襲擊事件，首宗白衣人被控暴動及有意圖而傷人的案件中，被指為白衣人之一的男子王志榮原脫罪，律政司提出上訴，案件發還原審法官重新考慮。法官葉佐文早前重新考慮關鍵影像證據後，裁定王暴動及有意圖傷人罪成，案件周二（8日）作判刑，由於沒有減刑因素，把王判囚7年。
