中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院李汉杰团队发现小胶质细胞存在于人体外周神经系统，打破了其仅限于大脑和脊髓的传统认知。研究通过分析多种生物样本，证实外周神经系统中小胶质细胞的存在及其古老起源，并为慢性疼痛、神经损伤等疾病的防治提供了新思路和潜在靶点，成果发表于《细胞》期刊。
