تبدأ أول ليلة من رجب من مغرب الثلاثاء ٣١ ديسمبر حتى فجر الأربعاء ١ يناير وهي ليلة مُستجاب فيها الدعاء بإذن الله لقول ابن عمر رضي الله تعالى عنهما : (خَمْسُ لَيَالٍ لا تُرَدُّ فِيهِنَّ الدَّعْوَةُ : أَوَلُ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ رَجَبٍ، وَلَيْلَةُ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ، وَلَيْلَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَلَيْلَةُ الْفِطْرِ، وَلَيْلَةُ النَّحْرِ)
(شهر رجب من الأشهر الحُرُم ، يعنى الذنب فيه أشد حُرمة وأعظم إثمًا وكمان أجر العمل الصالح فيه يُضاعف ) ..
