中共中央纪委国家监委网站4月12日通报，金湘军涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受中央纪委国家监委纪律审查和监察调查。
金湘军在2022年12月任山西省委副书记、代省长，后于2023年1月任山西省省长，直至此次被查。
