✅ "have/has yet to + verb"
simply means something has not happened yet, but it is expected to happen in the future. It suggests a sense of anticipation or incompleteness.
🔶 کاربرد
این ساختار رسمی زمانی بکار میره که بخوایم انتظار وقوع کاری رو نشون بدیم.
مثلا تو فصل زمستان انتظار داریم هوا سرد باشه اما گرمه و امیدواریم که سرد بشه.
دقت کنید که این ساختار بصورت منفی ترجمه میشه. پس میگیم:
Winter has yet to be cold.
زمستون باید سرد باشه. / زمستون هنوز سرد نشده.
= Winter is not cold yet.
یعنی حالا که زمستونه هوا فعلا گرمه ولی امیدواریم که سرد بشه.
💢 She has yet to finish her homework.
او باید تکلیفاشو تموم کنه. (= هنوز تموم نکرده اما بالاخره تمومش میکنه)
= She hasn't finished it yet, but she will.
💢 The train has yet to arrive.
قطار دیگه باید تا حالا اومده باشه. ( = هنوز نیومده ولی بالاخره می یاد)
=The train hasn't come yet, but it is expected soon.

💢She has yet to respond to my message.
(She hasn’t replied yet, but I expect she will.)
💢 The movie has yet to be released in theaters.
(It hasn’t been shown yet, but it is planned to be.)
💢 They have yet to finalize the project details.
(They haven’t finished the details yet, but it’s expected soon.)
💢 He has yet to apologize for his mistake.
(He hasn’t said sorry yet, but it’s anticipated that he might.)
💢 The results of the experiment have yet to be confirmed.
(The results haven’t been verified yet, but they will be.)
💢 We have yet to book our tickets for the trip.
(We haven’t reserved them yet, but we intend to.)
💢The government has yet to announce its decision on the policy.
(The decision hasn’t been declared yet, but it’s awaited.)
💢 I have yet to read the book you recommended.
(I haven’t started it yet, but I plan to.)
