A funded Ph.D. student position:

development of MRI methods
Development of (1) radio-frequency coils/antennas for MRI, and (2) methods for sensing and accounting for variations in the magnetic field at the MNI/Neuro’s Brain Imaging Centre and the BBME program
A Ph.D. student position is open at the Montreal Neurological Institute’s Brain Imaging Centre and the BBME graduate program.
The research themes include:

Design and fabrication of specialized Radio-Frequency coils for MRI.

Development of methods for in-bore sensing of the variations in the magnetic field.

Development of methods for modeling and accounting for these variations. 

The candidate will develop, evaluate and apply these methods using cutting-edge large bore 3 Tesla and 7 Tesla scanners, and a cutting-edge magnetic field camera.
The candidate will be instructed by an MRI physicist (Prof. David Rudko), an RF expert (Dr. Pedram Yazdanbakhsh), and an expert in Brain Imaging signals (Prof. Amir Shmuel).
Development of MRI methods is a highly regarded and needed expertise in both the academic and high-tech sectors.

At a time when the Indian stock market is peaking and has rallied immensely compared to global markets, there are companies that have not performed in the last 10 years. These are definitely a minor portion of the market considering there are hundreds of stocks that have turned multibagger since 2020. What went wrong with these stocks? Pinterest (PINS) Stock Sinks As Market Gains

Pinterest (PINS) closed at $71.75 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.18% move from the prior day. This change lagged the S&P 500's daily gain of 0.1%. Meanwhile, the Dow gained 0.9%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, lost 0.59%. Heading into today, shares of the digital pinboard and shopping tool company had lost 17.41% over the past month, lagging the Computer and Technology sector's loss of 5.38% and the S&P 500's gain of 0.71% in that time. Investors will be hoping for strength from PINS as it approaches its next earnings release. The company is expected to report EPS of $0.07, up 170% from the prior-year quarter. Our most recent consensus estimate is calling for quarterly revenue of $467.87 million, up 72.05% from the year-ago period.
