ويتألف مبنى الكلية من ثلاثة طوابق ويضم خمسة وعشرين فصلاً دراسيًا، إضافة إلى قاعات صلاة ومكتبات وقاعات اجتماعات.
وقضت توجيهات الرئيس علي عبدالله صالح في بناء الجامع بوجوب المحافظة على الطابع العمراني اليمني لاسيما في المنارات والواجهات الحجرية، فكان الجامع الكبير بصنعاء الملهم الأساسي للمهندسين في ذلك.
