工會近日接獲如心酒店員工爆料，指酒店內爆發肺炎疫情，現時已有約30多人染疫，每日均會新增3至6人確診。
酒店管理層處理手法拙劣，失當措施包括 :
1. 因部分部門人手短缺，即使員工快速測試呈陽性，仍繼續上班，成極大播毒風險
2. 公司沒有向同事對內公佈確診名單，令到其他同事人人自危
3. 有部分確診同事快速測試呈陽性後，需到政府檢測，在等候報告期間，員工只能放無薪假。
酒店工會在此強調，根據職安條例，僱主有必要提供一個安全的工作環境予員工上班。因此在有員工初步確診下，仍要員工上班，是極不負責任的做法。而員工亦應有對工作環境的知情權，以保障自身及家人的健康。
工會現對如心酒店作出呼籲，必須立即跟進及改善有關情況，不然本會有可能將相關個案交予勞工處跟進 !

Secure video calling is in high demand. As an alternative to Zoom, many people are using end-to-end encrypted apps such as WhatsApp, FaceTime or Signal to speak to friends and family face-to-face since coronavirus lockdowns started to take place across the world. There’s another option—secure communications app Telegram just added video calling to its feature set, available on both iOS and Android. The new feature is also super secure—like Signal and WhatsApp and unlike Zoom (yet), video calls will be end-to-end encrypted.
