قال تعالى: (فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا وخر موسى صعقا) .. فالله جل وعلا لعظمته لما تجلى للجبل جعله مدقوقًا مفتتًا، ولذا قال موسى عليه السلام بعد ما أفاق من غشيته: (سبحانك) أي تنزيها لك وتعظيما عما لا يليق بجلالك.
