港援與21個英國港人組織去信首相施紀賢，要求佢針對近日香港47人案嘅判刑作出進一步實際行動。

施紀賢作為英國首相、工黨領導人，以及一位人權律師，竟然可以將同中國嘅經濟關係遠遠凌駕於英國一直以嚟重視嘅自由民主價值；一方面同習近平握手言談中英貿易關係重要性，另一方面香港45人因為「顛覆國家政權」，總共判刑245年半，就只係輕輕帶過，完全無實際行動，令在英港人徹底失望同憤慨。

我哋希望見到英國盡快採取實際行動，例如制裁相關官員及禁止相關推動國安法人士進入英國。

維持良好經濟關係 vs 保持關注人權狀況，兩者本來就可以共存，而唔係以物易物。

Telegram hopes to raise $1bn with a convertible bond private placement

The super secure UAE-based Telegram messenger service, developed by Russian-born software icon Pavel Durov, is looking to raise $1bn through a bond placement to a limited number of investors from Russia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, the Kommersant daily reported citing unnamed sources on February 18, 2021.The issue reportedly comprises exchange bonds that could be converted into equity in the messaging service that is currently 100% owned by Durov and his brother Nikolai.Kommersant reports that the price of the conversion would be at a 10% discount to a potential IPO should it happen within five years.The minimum bond placement is said to be set at $50mn, but could be lowered to $10mn. Five-year bonds could carry an annual coupon of 7-8%.
