قال سلمة بن كهيل : " كان يقال شهر شعبان ؛ شهر القُرّاء " وكان الحسنُ بن شهيل رحمه الله يُكثر فيهما مِن قراءة القرآن ؛ ويقول :" ربِّ جعلتني بين شهرين عظيمين ! " .
