Президент Грузии Саломе Зурабишвили высказала мнение, что в случае победы правящей партии "Грузинская мечта - Демократическая Грузия" на парламентских выборах 26 октября, она может столкнуться с импичментом и даже тюремным заключением.
"Если это произойдет (победа правящей партии - прим. ТАСС), мне, вероятно, объявят импичмент и отправят в тюрьму", — заявила Зурабишвили на пресс-конференции, комментируя возможные действия правящей партии по запрету и судебному преследованию оппозиции.
При этом она подчеркнула, что не хочет обсуждать вероятность поражения оппозиционных сил. По ее словам, оппозиционные партии могут объединиться и создать коалиционное правительство, если граждане проявят активность на выборах.
