据湖北省纪委监委6月11日消息：湖北省自然资源厅党组书记、厅长吴祖云涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受湖北省纪委监委纪律审查和监察调查。
今年4月，中央第九巡视组进驻湖北省，开展2个半月左右的巡视工作。“上官汇”注意到，吴祖云曾于2018年至2021年间担任湖北潜江市委书记。潜江已有四任市委书记落马。另外3人为盛文军、张桂华和朱汉桥，均于2024年被查。
