日本民间企业“i太空公司”的月球着陆器“坚韧”号6日凌晨尝试在月球表面着陆，但着陆器在预定着陆前失去联系。“i太空公司”表示，“坚韧”号未能成功实现月球着陆。可能在降落过程中未能完全减速而撞击月球表面。
“坚韧”号于2025年1月15日搭乘美国太空探索技术公司的“猎鹰9”火箭升空，5月7日进入绕月轨道。
“i太空公司”的前一个月球着陆器2023年4月26日凌晨在实施着陆过程中与地面失去联系，未能完成月球着陆任务。
