A soldier’s Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra turned out to be a lifesaver in the middle of a battle in Ukraine by stopping a bullet. The phone’s tough Titanium case stopped a big piece of deadly shrapnel, keeping the soldier safe from serious injury.

In a review shared on Samsung’s official online store, the soldier described the incident. “During shelling, a fragment hit my Galaxy S25 Ultra directly. It pierced the screen but got stuck in the titanium case,” he wrote.

The phone’s sturdy build acted like armor, preventing serious harm. He included a photo showing the phone’s screen, badly damaged where the shrapnel hit. It looked like the fragment struck near the processor and motherboard.

Curious if the phone could be fixed, media outlet Mezha reached out to Samsung. The company responded that the phone is at their service center now.

We’re fixing it for free to thank him for his service and trust in us,” Samsung replied to Mezha.
