新南威尔士州工会要求悉尼地铁加装“员工室”以保证员工安全

根据铁路、火车和公交工会(RTBU)与悉尼地铁(MTS)之间正在进行的企业协议谈判的内容,RTBU要求MTS在悉尼地铁内安装独立的“员工空间”,以保证员工免受袭击事件伤害。
目前RTBU尚未与MTS和新南威尔士州交通局讨论具体改造成本。MTS回应称将会对此题案进行积极考虑。

澳大利亚朝野两党对此事均持反对态度,新南威尔士州交通部长约翰·格雷厄姆明确表示“不会为该项目提供任何支持”。反对党则表示这个提案是“工会的阴谋”,不仅没有实用性而且还将浪费数百万美元资金,有反对党议员认为“在无人驾驶地铁上加装员工空间是一个非常可悲的计划”。
