玻利维亚总统阿尔塞26日宣布，因遭遇持续降雨引发洪水和山体滑坡等严重自然灾害，玻利维亚即日起进入全国紧急状态。
阿尔塞当天在新闻发布会上说，持续暴雨已波及全国9个省份。宣布进入全国紧急状态有助于协调中央和地方共同努力应对自然灾害，加快调拨资金、调动人力资源及时向灾区民众提供援助。
官方数据显示，截至目前，由于强降雨、洪水和山体滑坡，玻利维亚全国已有51人死亡，818所房屋被完全摧毁，近37.8万个家庭受灾。玻政府已紧急向灾区运送234吨人道主义救援物资。
