The Legislative Ways In Dealing With The Leaders(1)

الطرق الشرعية في التعامل مع الحكام(١)

بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم

Introduction

All praise is due to Allaah, we praise Him, seek His help and
forgiveness. We return to Him alone in repentance, and we seek refuge in Allaah from the evil of ourselves and from our wrong deeds. Whosoever Allaah guides there is none who can
misguide, and whosoever Allaah misguides there is none who can guide him.

I bear witness that there is no diety worthy of being worshipped in truth except Allaah Who is free from any partners or associates. I also bear witness that Muhammad is the humble slave of Allaah that should not be worshipped and the messenger of Allaah that should not be belied صلى الله عليه وسلم

As to what follows,

Allaah The Mighty and the Majestic says:

{ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَطِیعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِیعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَأُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَمۡرِ مِنكُمۡۖ فَإِن تَنَـٰزَعۡتُمۡ فِی شَیۡءࣲ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَحۡسَنُ تَأۡوِیلًا }
[سُورَةُ النِّسَاءِ: ٥٩]

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger.

Allah's Messenger ﷺ said:

‏ مَنْ أَطَاعَنِي فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ، وَمَنْ أَطَاعَ أَمِيرِي فَقَدْ أَطَاعَنِي، وَمَنْ عَصَى أَمِيرِي فَقَدْ عَصَانِي

Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me."

This is a series of advice to the ummah in these trying times, thus it's befitting it should be examined, either to serve as a reminder or to be learnt from.

As negligence regarding correct treatment of the leaders is from the ways tremendous evils have entered upon the Muslims today and in the past.

I ask Allaah the Mighty and The Majestic for correctness and to benefit with this the Muslims and make it for me sincerely for His Honorable Face and draw me close to His Jannah of bliss.

وصلى الله وسلم على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.
