مراسم افتتاحیه ششمین دوره مجلس خبرگان رهبری روز سه‌شنبه اول خرداد در ساختمان قدیم مجلس شورای اسلامی برگزار می شود.
بر اساس قانون انتخابات مجلس خبرگان رهبری، هیات مرکزی نظارت بر انتخابات، پس از صدور اعتبارنامه دو سوم منتخبان این انتخابات، از آنها برای شرکت در مراسم افتتاحیه این مجلس دعوت می‌کند.
