据日本《读卖新闻》5月16日报道，日本大阪公立大学当天表示，其工科研究室中两种危险有毒化学品（氰化钾与氰酸钠）丢失，丢失量约50g，可致160-250人死亡。
日本大阪公立大学称，学校工作人员5月2日进行年度定期检查时，发现用于实验的2瓶有毒化学品丢失，分别是25g的粉末。上一次定期检查是在2023年6月。根据规定，使用相关危险化学品的教师与学生需提前登记，化学品被外来人员拿走的可能性极低。
日本法律规定，若发现氰化钾等危险有毒化学品丢失，应立即向公安机关报案。而大阪公立大学在事发约15天后，才向公安机关报案。学校副校长已召开记者会道歉，表示，“我们对相关法律认识浅薄，深表歉意。”（

At the same time, Telegram Group Inc. must cover rising equipment and bandwidth expenses because of its rapid growth, despite going years without attempting to generate revenue.
