马国椰子走私猖獗首三个月查获数百万令吉椰子

马来西亚和泰国边境的椰子走私活动猖獗，马国警方普通行动部队今年首三个月查获的走私椰子数量，已超过去年的总数。马来西亚《中国报》报道，去年有关部队共查获价值180万令吉（约54万新元）的走私椰子，而今年仅首三个月，当局已揭发11起走私案件，并查获290万令吉的椰子，有24人被捕。普通行动部队东南旅指挥官聂罗斯指出，相比之下，去年仅有10起椰子走私案件，以及10名嫌犯被逮捕。他指出，调查发现，大部分的走私椰子都会先被转运至非法仓库，随后再送往泰国。他说，当局已锁定位于彭加兰古堡哥乐河沿岸的至少九个非法仓库据点。…
