谷歌在西班牙Search Central Live活动上宣布，将把移动端的新闻发现流功能Google Discover引入桌面版Google.com主页。该功能自2018年上线移动端后，已为新闻出版商带来显著流量，桌面版预计将使内容曝光量倍增。测试显示，桌面版Discover采用与移动端相似的卡片式布局，包含新闻、体育赛事、天气等个性化推荐模块。谷歌工程师透露，此次扩展旨在构建跨设备的内容生态，出版商需调整实时内容策略以适配新流量入口。此前谷歌自2023年起持续测试桌面端Discover，近期在部分用户主页灰度测试中获得积极反馈。
