路易威登得州工厂因熟练工人不足，皮料浪费率达40%，远超行业20%的平均水平。多名员工透露，工厂为完成产能目标，默许瑕疵产品流入市场，违反品牌销毁规定。
该工厂主要生产Neverfull等入门产品，但部分高价手袋也在此生产。路易威登承认2018年存在管理问题，称已处理责任人。得州工厂曾获特朗普政府税收减免，但实际员工数未达预期。
