BADBAZAAR和MOONSHINE被指采用了一种“木马病毒”的技术，可将恶意功能隐藏在合法的应用程序中。一旦安装后，这些应用程序就会在用户不知情的情况下对用户移动装置上的麦克风、照相机、简讯、照片和定位（包括即时追踪）等各种功能进行访问存取。
BADBAZAAR软件有在“小众平台”上以强制广告弹窗形式出现的，也有在社交媒体如Telegram（电报）、Skype和微博上的群组里用广告机器人定期发布出来的。

That said, PayPal has announced that it will enable cryptocurrency as a funding source for purchases this year, financing purchases by automatically converting crypto holdings to fiat currency for users. “They have 346 million users and they’re connected to 26 million merchants,” says Spencer Montgomery, founder of Uinta Crypto Consulting. “It’s huge.”
The cloud-based messaging platform is also adding Anonymous Group Admins feature. As per Telegram, this feature is being introduced for safer protests. As per the Telegram blog post, users can “Toggle Remain Anonymous in Admin rights to enable Batman mode. The anonymized admin will be hidden in the list of group members, and their messages in the chat will be signed with the group name, similar to channel posts.”
