Democratic Party rules make it almost impossible to replace a nominee without their consent, let alone smoothly substitute in someone else.
She might be politically favored, but party rules give the vice president no major mechanical benefit over other candidates.

I have to be honest, I don't know what the overturning of Chevron REALLY means in terms of the hidden agenda behind it (because there always is), but the decision seems too good to be true and usually when things feel that way, they almost always are. It's just like with the over turning of Roe v Wade...
Were you aware that despite bans, the number of abortions actually increased in 2023? There are reports of abortions being the highest in over a decade with the numbers also being expected to increase over the years due to the FDA's approval of the first over-the-counter abortion pill for ALL AGES.
Not only that, Zion Don is not in favor of an outright national abortion ban. Instead Donald Trump plans to "negotiate a deal" that will make "both sides" happy. Because ya know, that's exactly something a pro-life advocate and true believer of Christ would say. None of this sounds like a victory to me.
As things look good for conservatives and Republicans at the moment, I'd like to remind you all that in this scripted reality of ours not all that glitters is gold. This ruling just like Roe V Wade is only good on the surface. It all sounds nice and shiny, but we all know THEY never do anything for OUR benefit.
How will THEY use this to their advantage/our disadvantage?
Best word of advice: pay attention to what's going on but don't invest yourselves emotionally nor spiritually in any of these things.
