8 июня 1876 года было окончено строительство здания для Кубанской войсковой гимназии (архитектор В.А. Филиппов). В 1891 г. здание передано Кубанскому войсковому реальному училищу. Разрушено в годы Великой Отечественной войны. На этом месте в 1961 г. построен Дом Советов. Ныне - здание администрации Краснодарского края (Красная, 35).
