日本首相石破茂上周五（21日）在官邸接見中國外交部長王毅，但其後發現中國外交部官網公布的會面內容，記載著石破茂並未作出的發言，隨即向中方提出抗議，並要求刪去「不符事實」的内容。
針對當中的「尊重中方闡述的立場」表述，日本外務省指出，「首相石破茂並未做出那樣的發言」，並透露石破茂在會談中還談及東海局勢、確保在中國的日僑安全、希望中國早日解除禁止進口日本水產品措施等議題。
