英國國會下議院議員賀候絲（Wera Hobhouse）上周入境香港被拒，英國外相林德偉（David Lammy）形容事件令人擔憂，進一步損害香港的國際聲譽；中國外交部發言人林劍回應稱，港府有權處理入境個案。
賀候絲在社交平台形容自己是1997年以來，首名在抵達香港時被拒絕入境的英國議員，「這個打擊殘忍且令人不安」，香港當局卻未有給予任何解釋，「我希望外交大臣能意識到，這是對全體國會議員的羞辱，並積極尋求答案。」。
