•••What lies do you find yourself believing?•••
You wake up everyday and write yourself a poem,
A long line of words, an anthem for your soul;
A satire of sorts in which you're ridiculed,
You stand there with no shield your mind is your sword.
You write yourself a song then a verse and some prose;
Each morning you wake up you make yourself the prompt.
You write about yourself in which nothing is true,
Your name it's a title as if you're your muse.
You dont know who I am, you've never heard of me,
That's why I can't tell you what you should not believe.
I dont know who you are, I've never heard of you,
But I know of a truth I've heard a time or two.
A trickster is the type that carries intellect,
Which he'll use to charm you till you trust what he says.
The trickster is your mind from which you pull your poems,
And in the midst of all you'll believe what he has told.
However keep in mind this tiny fact I know,
Your soul is well endowed in the art of knowing what's true and what's false.
