Happy Somerset Day from everyone in the shire and beyond!
I am forever proud to call this magical county my home. My ancestry in this region stretches back to at least 500 years, and around the time of the industrial revolution, my ancestors were pushed to work in Bristol, where I have a long line of ancestry, including my great, great, great, great, great grandfather who was a reverend at Bristol's Central Chruch. There is actually a memorial plague in the church of him!
Following my grandmother's move to Somerset when she was in her early twenties, and both my parents being from here, here I am!
Fly your Somerset flags high, have a jollop, and reflect on the pride you have for this region. I am, of course, biased, but nowhere in the world matches the unique mysticism this area holds.
