По словам очевидцев, сухогруз «Зеленга» по какой-то причине пошёл не по середине реки и оказался на мелководье, после чего врезался рубкой в разводной железнодорожный мост.

По предварительным данным, теплоход потерял управление после отказа двигателя. В результате происшествия на сухогрузе были смяты капитанский мостик и рубка. Информации о пострадавших пока нет.
