IBM 宣布了最新的 z17 大型机，每秒能处理最多 27 万亿次操作，性能比 2022 年发布的 z16 快 50%，预计夏天上市。z17 使用了 Telum II 处理器，是 z16 使用的 Telum 处理器的升级版，为 8 核、频率 5.5GH，配有 360MB 虚拟 L3 缓存和 2.88GB 虚拟 L4 缓存。Telum II 还引入了旨在帮助加速 AI 工作负载的新数据处理单元等功能。Telum 一代使用三星 7 纳米工艺制造，二代尚无更多信息。

That said, PayPal has announced that it will enable cryptocurrency as a funding source for purchases this year, financing purchases by automatically converting crypto holdings to fiat currency for users. “They have 346 million users and they’re connected to 26 million merchants,” says Spencer Montgomery, founder of Uinta Crypto Consulting. “It’s huge.”
