原中共中央统战部长阎明复7月3日上午逝世，享年92岁。
阎明复1931年11月生，1957年1月至1966年任中办翻译组组长，其后因涉杨尚昆案入狱，1975年获释。
1985年11月任中央统战部长，1988年兼任政协党组副书记、副主席。1989年5月天安门广场学生绝食期间曾参与斡旋；6月被免去中央书记处书记职务。
1991年5月至1997年7月任民政部副部长，其后任中华慈善总会会长、终身荣誉会长。
