习近平与安华会晤 中马将深化经贸与投资合作
中国国家主席习近平与马来西亚首相安华星期三（4月16日）在吉隆坡会晤时表示，双方将加强在贸易、经济和投资领域的合作。
路透社报道，在与安华举行双边会谈前，习近平表示，中马关系正步入“新的黄金时代”，他愿意推动双边关系进一步发展。
安华则表示，双方将合作领域扩大至包括人工智能在内的多个方向。
据此前报道，习近平与安华会晤结束后，中马预计将签署更多合作协议。

Traders also expressed uncertainty about the situation with China Evergrande, as the indebted property company has not provided clarification about a key interest payment.In economic news, the Commerce Department reported an unexpected increase in U.S. new home sales in August.Crude oil prices climbed Friday and front-month WTI oil futures contracts saw gains for a fifth straight week amid tighter supplies. West Texas Intermediate Crude oil futures for November rose $0.68 or 0.9 percent at 73.98 a barrel. WTI Crude futures gained 2.8 percent for the week.
